Built From Experience

Built by Builders.
Built to Solve.

3Wood exists because we experienced the same problems our customers face: strong ideas limited by product access, specialty materials without enough support, and jobsite challenges that conventional distribution was not built to solve.

01 / Company Overview

We Built the Partner We Needed.

3Wood began with a practical idea: builders, lumber yards, and building suppliers deserve better access to the products and expertise that move construction forward.

Our team came to the business with years of real-world building and building-products experience. We understood how often the right solution existed—but was difficult to source, difficult to specify, or disconnected from the engineering and field support required to use it confidently. We started 3Wood to close those gaps for our own work and quickly discovered that others needed the same thing.

Today, we are a specialty wholesale distributor focused on engineered wood systems, high-performance building products, project-specific supply, and custom milling. We work through retail partners, pairing advanced products with the technical knowledge and service needed to turn them into practical, buildable solutions.

02 / Why 3Wood

Products Matter.
The Support Around Them Matters More.

Anyone can add a line to a catalog. Our goal is to understand what a product can do, where it creates an advantage, and how to support it from the first plan review through the realities of construction.

That means building strong manufacturer relationships, developing deep product knowledge, investing in engineering and field support, and creating supply options that work for the yard—not around it.

03 / How We Work

Built Around the Challenge, Not the Catalog.

Many of the products and capabilities we offer today began with a partner asking for help. Rather than forcing every project into the same limited set of answers, we look at the actual need: structural performance, availability, constructability, appearance, schedule, or cost.

Sometimes the answer is an engineered product. Sometimes it is a cut pack, a manufacturer-supported fix, a custom-milled component, or a supply relationship that did not exist before. Our role is to connect those pieces and make the solution easier to access through the local retail partner.

04 / Leadership team

Experienced People.
Practical Perspective.

3Wood’s leadership team brings together experience in building, engineered wood products, wholesale distribution, operations, design support, manufacturing, and customer service. The team shares one operating principle: understand the need, tell the truth about the options, and do the work required to move the project forward.

05 / What's next

Always Looking for the Next Best Answer.

3Wood is growing, but growth for its own sake is not the goal. We are building a stronger network of products, people, and capabilities around the problems our partners need solved.

Many of the products we offer today started with a request: a builder needed a better-performing system, a yard needed access to a product it could not source, or a project demanded a solution the standard supply chain did not provide. We built our mill for the same reason—to take better care of our customers and respond directly to the structural and architectural challenges they were bringing us.

That same approach will guide what comes next. The next important product in our lineup may begin with a challenge you bring us.

Strong Relationships
Build Better Solutions.

The best work happens when manufacturers, distributors, retail yards, engineers, and builders share what they know. 3Wood is here to strengthen those connections—and turn better products, better support, and better ideas into real progress on the jobsite.
