Expertise From Spec to Site

More Than Supply.
Built-In Support.

Specialty products create new possibilities—but they also demand the right knowledge behind them. 3Wood brings product expertise, engineering coordination, cut-pack capability, field support, logistics, and custom milling together in one partner built specifically for lumber yards and building suppliers.

01 / The Service Model

Built to Make Complex Work Simpler.

We understand the pressure on the retail yard: your customer needs the right answer, the material has to match the plan, the quote has to be accurate, and the package has to arrive ready to move.

Yet the most advanced products often require specialized knowledge that a conventional distribution model does not provide. That is where 3Wood fits. We connect the yard, the manufacturer, the engineer, and the build—giving our partners access to capabilities that help them take on more sophisticated work without building an entire specialty department in-house.

02 / Engineering & In-Situ Solutions

Real Answers When the Build Changes.

Plans establish the intent. Field conditions do not always cooperate. 3Wood is uniquely positioned to help retail partners and their builder customers resolve product-specific questions before installation—and develop practical, in-situ solutions when conditions change during construction.

Our direct manufacturer relationships provide access to leading product knowledge and engineering resources. Instead of passing along a generic recommendation, we work toward a solution grounded in what the product is designed to do and aligned with the manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Product selection and application support during estimating and design
  • Engineering coordination for project-specific cut packs
  • Manufacturer-aligned review of field conditions and proposed fixes
  • Practical in-situ repair or modification details for construction-stage issues
  • Support available for projects in all 50 states
Specializing in solutions, from “What's the best fit?” to “How do we fix it?”
03 / Engineered Cut Packs

From Raw Material to Build-Ready Package.

Some partners need full-load material for inventory. Others need a complete package built around one customer’s plans. 3Wood supports both—supplying raw engineered and specialty products to the yard or developing project-specific cut packs that arrive organized for efficient assembly.

For cut packs, the retail partner provides the plans and customer requirements. Our team reviews the design, completes the product-specific work commonly identified as “designed by manufacturer,” matches the structure to available engineered and specialty products, and returns a quote through the yard.

The retail partner provides project drawings, specifications, schedule, and delivery requirements. The relationship begins with the yard—and stays centered there.

You bring the customer and the plans. We help turn them into a coordinated material package.
